Frequently asked questions

You should invite between 8 and 15 guests, who for safety reasons should be over the age of 16 unless agreed in advance.

The photographer will arrive 30-60 minutes before your guests to set up and test his equipment.

Long enough to take a good selection of photographs of each guest, this will normally take around two hours depending on the number of guests.

Once the photographs have been taken, you will each choose four photographs which are supplied in colour or mono sized 12 inches x 8 inches (slightly larger than A4 paper) and there will be an opportunity to order additional photographs.

Absolutely, unless they wish to purchase any further prints in addition to their first four which are included in the price.

No. The host attends the Portrait Night free of charge and receives their first four prints free of charge (8 free prints if enough guests attend).

You can pay in advance using a credit or debit card or by cheque, or you can pay in cash on the day; most people prefer to pay in cash as they can collect people's money as they arrive on the day of the shoot.

No. Your photographer will have plenty of experience and will pose you if you are unsure.
